I find myself searching for a new ball, but not really out of necessity...
Currently I only bowl in one league, might be a late add to another, which is 3rd shift on wood lanes which generally has medium oil for most of the first game. I think I pretty well have this condition covered as I can usually start out with my Hawg and play on 30 out over 15 if there is still enough oil, eventually transitioning to my Smokin' and swinging it a little more outside. If there is really no oil the Zone Classic comes out.
I bowled in a city tournament last year that had a longer and heavier pattern than I am used to, so I struggled a bit having to play out of my comfort zone.
I am a Brunswick honk, so I really would like to get the Twisted, but I don't know how much different it will be than any of my current balls, and I am kind of afraid that it might duplicate my Smokin'. I don't know how well this ball will preform on oilier tracks, which is probably my biggest need. My pro shop had suggested the Black Widow and LevRG, although I have never used a MoRich product so I am unfamiliar.
I throw with a soft hand, medium track, average speed, have some axis tilt in my release creating a little skid-flip, but I don't have any measurements to date. Hopefully I can get a video up sometime of my shot and the would probably be more helpful.
Any thoughts?
Thanks for your time.
