Title: Fury Pearl....first sighting!
Post by: LuckyLefty on May 15, 2008, 12:56:04 AM
Lots of new bowlers and new stuff for them this summer.

Watched a former softball pitcher female wing this thing yesterday.....Never seen a ball look better in her hands.  Even and strong pearl....looks great on the alley in its appearance...that surprised me!

REgards,

Luckylefty
PS she MAY be just throwing it GREAT!

I've been using the Fury Pearl as my benchmark ball since last Oct.  I love this ball and it has definitely helped my game immensely.  Past couple of nights I've used it in league play without having to make a ball change and had series scores of 791 and 625.  This ball feels great coming off my hand and rarely rolls out or misses unless I screw things up.  I'd highly recommend this ball to anyone.

Fyi, I also use the Fury solid for medium/heavy oil and picked up the Ultra Zone to fill in my Brunswick arsenal.  Haven't tried the Twisted Fury yet, but I'd like to test drive that ball first.

The FP does not find much fans around here, the TF has been much popular. But I have seen a local Amateur staffer using the FP in a tournament some months ago, and I just can underline LuckyLefty's impression: an even and strong pearl ball.
IMHO, Brunswick's reaction numbers (Breakpoint: 95 of 100) are pretty mischievous, it is not a flippy piece. It even seems to handle a bit of carrydown well - for a pearl ball. But it does not seem to be very popular at all.
