The Fury Pearl's cover has zero polish on it (4000 abralon), which does make it strong, but not jumpy like a polished pearl tends to be. It can be adjusted down to 2000 or even 1000 abralon easily to adjust the late movement, too. I've been throwing mine for 3-4 weeks and it's an instant favorite for that reason. Very nice ball.
Agreeing with x59, the Sidewinder is more smooth due to the low particle load. It does not have the same amount of movement in the last part of the lane as the Fury Pearl for that reason.
Either one fits between the original Inferno and the Total, you just need to decide which one will fit your game best.
