Is the Blast zone a good replacement ball for the Fury ?

I think it can be, to me and what i have seen is that the blast zone is a really rolly ball so if thats what you want then yes. I also suggest a total inferno if you can get your hands on one. I didnt really like the fury or the blast zone but i love the total inferno. hope this helps

In my opinion the Blast Zone handles the same conditions as the Fury as long as you don't shine it. It just makes a slightly more angular move once it hits friction due to the hybrid cover. I also think it's more versatile if you're bowling on mostly house shots.

i agree with notclay about the blast zone handling just as much oil as the fury. i didnt really like it shined but when i took it back down to 800 abralon it was pretty impressive. early rolling but doesnt give up on the back end. it was a great ball for nationals this year

I'd have to agree with everyone.  Blast Zone is a little longer and more angular, Fury starts up earlier and makes a hard arc, but hook potential is about the same.  Blast Zone is more allergic to dry though.  My Fury has never burnt up on dry, the Blast Zone does tend to burn up a bit.  HOWEVER, that's what I like about it.  I put a little polish on mine, which I'll agree it doesn't really like, but I've been playing a roll at 30 feet and puke shot to near perfection with it.  I think it's better through carry down on the backends though, it's still pretty strong and clean where the Fury might be a bit flat or not quite make it.  I can't wait to try my Blast at nationals, our lane guy put the shot into our machine and ran it, and my Blast was the only thing that really gave me a good look.

Thank you all for your input...I have got my Blast Zone. First impression of the ball is exactly what most have mentioned, its longer and more angular, once it hits the dry, it will dive into the pins...
