Brunswick is pleased to introduce their newest high-performance bowling ball called the FURY PEARL TOUR EDITION.

Coverstock
Building on the success of the original Fury Pearl, the Fury Pearl Tour Edition utilizes a dry lane version of High Octane coverstock to create a ball reaction with increased length and a smoother back-end reaction

Core Technology
The Fury Pearl TE uses the original Fury’s Torsion Symmetric core system. Known for its easy revving characteristics, the Torsion Core helps the Fury Pearl TE to create great mid-lane recovery for a dry lane ball.

Reaction Characteristics
Out of the Box: With its Rough Buff finish, the Fury Pearl TE will provide more length and a smoother back-end than the original Fury Pearl, making it a good match for medium to dry lane conditions.
If your Fury Pearl Tour Edition goes too long: Rough up the surface with 1000-grit or progressively rougher abrasives. If you Fury Pearl TE still goes too long you will need to use a ball with a more aggressive coverstock, such as the original Fury Pearl.
If your Fury Pearl TE hooks too early: You will need to use a less aggressive ball such as the Power Groove Dry.

Same here.  I tweaked the surface and put a weight hole down and it is still a medium to dry lane ball at best.

I had mine 4 1/2 ptp with a 4" pin and a hole down in the thumb quad..

Bruns response to Pro-Pin. Extra-Cure = tour edition. QC covered by marketting, its all about the Benji's baby, so saving margin anyway possible is good.

Anyway to distinguish the "Tour Edition" from the original?  Different logos/Pin/color variation/box?  Rico maybe you can help.  

There have been Furl Pearl 2nd floating around distributors.  I've drilled 2 for customers, both seemed really "pushy" and didn't react as strong as I layed them out.  Could it be those are the harder batch?

My buddy Ritchie Allen threw one of these during a regional this past summer on the cheetah pattern.  Everyone else thought it was a pearl fury, but we knew it was just a little different
