Fuze Eliminator- Please help!

Just wondering if anyone is currently using this ball. My wife throws a 12# power groove right now, and I want to move her up to a 14# ball with a better weight block for more carry. My driller has this ball on his closeout sheet, and I wanted some input before I decided to buy it. Any info would be great.

Many loved it!

I like mine a lot.  But polished it and do not like as much.

I find Brunswick particle balls just need trizact!

Great core great sharp move that is somehow controllable.

If these balls stop working just take back to proshop for another trizact!

Hey i just got rid of my eliminator. Its a pretty good ball but make sure you put a good controllable drill on it. I had mine with the pin below the finger with the cg kicked out and it was very hard to controll the backend, at least with the way i threw the ball. My father had success with it. After a couple drinks at league he was crushing the team with strike after strike with it. You definitely cant beat the price. If I were you that would be a good step up from the power groove. Also make sure your wife knows if she buys it she will consistently have to clean it off, it soaks up everything on the lane.

Now, are you sure it was the ball, or could it have been the drinks?

Im pretty sure it was the ball but I could be mistaken. . Good thing I told him to grab it because he was bowling like crap before I told him to reach in the bag. I had to get rid of mine because the backend was too hard to control. I traded mine for a brand new monster bruiser.

Well...not really.  The Eliminator is smooth, it reads the oil more, and doesn't bounce off of the dry.  The Igniter is a skid-flip resin ball;  it goes straight through the oil, and then changes direction rapidly in the dry.

Over the Summer, I carried both balls in the bag, and when one didn't work, the other one usually did.

Fatboy, not sure if you are interested or not, but bowlingball.com has 12lb Eliminators on sale for 70$ a piece.

YMMV, but my Eliminator gets into a roll *much* quicker than my Igniter.  I can't use my Igniter when there's decent volume in the midlane, but the Eliminator seems to roll right through it.

For the sake of comparison, both balls are in box condition, the Eliminator is drilled with Brunswick's 4E layout, and the Igniter is drilled 1L.
