General Questions about the Siege
« on: November 23, 2010, 12:26:49 AM »
How is yours laid out and what patterns work well with it?  Did you adjust the surface?

I am thinking about getting one and was at how it fits in with what I have.

What all do you have, and what reaction are you seeking?

My Siege is drilled 60 by 5" by 70, with an XH about 2" below PAP on VAL.  This ball works especially well for me on flatter patterns that are fresh, and broken-down house shots to tame down the wet-dry.

I have:

total bedlam pin under 1k with a hole at P3
920T pin under not quite a 4x3 hole at P3 4k
Mission pin under 2k with storm finish two over it
Cell Pin up 1k polish
T-road solid pin under bridge box

All except the mission are dual angle drillings but not sure of the degrees

I figure those are my strong balls.

I am not sure I even need the Siege but the Twisted Fury pearl seems pretty good  and I thought I would try out another Big B ball.

To be honest, you've got the strong end of the scale pretty well covered IMO, so a Siege might give you too much overlap.  However, if you're looking for a Brunswick asym in the more medium range, I'd give the Evil Siege or Wicked Siege a look, depending on whether you like a look that is more even from front to back or something that is more lateral at the break.

I was thinking I did have it covered.  I am getting an evil siege from a friend of mine.  Does that complement the Twisted Fury Pearl?  Could it if I drill it pin down?  Except for the Mission, all of my pearls are pin up.
