Look at some of Brunswick's International releases from a year or so ago.  I know the Alien core is from one of those balls.  The Cheetah core looks like every other lightbulb core ever made from any manufacturer.  Messengers without the bottom flip block.  A couple of Ebonites.  I don't know about the Shark core, but the R47 core looks a lot like the Danger Zone core that's used in the current Zone line, but without the stretching-induced asymmetry.

I don't know if those were the first balls to have those cores, but when they (Elite) first posted pics of the cores a year or so ago, that's what a few people said.

Personal educated guesses (since only Brunswick will know):

The Alien core shape was used the first time (As far as I know) in the Control Zone and has seen re-entries in overseas releases like the Red Alert Plus (http://www.123bowl.com/ball.asp?ballid=2650) or Master Zone.

The Cheetah uses the core from the Monster ScreamR

The Shark and the Vipers use the Inferno core or its derivates with differeing RG and diff. values - at least they did until recently, before changing the pics on their website and launching the Chameleon recently. I am sure there was a 3D picture of the Inferno core, and the specs indicate this, too.
I guess there is still the Inferno core inside, despite the wacky illustration. I doubt that this is an all new core design just for Elite, and that they'd have changed it while the ball is still in production without further notice?

The R47 is IMHO a 100% original Danger Zone remake (same core, symmetric - see the specs), just with 2 colors in the solid PK18 shell.

3. I've never seen it before, kinda looks like part of the Inferno series cores.
4. Danger Zone/Classic Not sure if the core in the picture is Aysm or not.

Agreed.  I disagree about being an Inferno-family core.  I understand the round ball in the center might be "Inferno-family", but the top looks like a solid disc flip-block and the bottom is something I don't know.

Yea it's not from the Inferno family, but there is some resemblance.

the protrusion on top of the #4 core makes it look like the core from the sapphire blue zone.

I think the protrusions are the pins.  All the cores have them.
