I am a 165 averager and struggle with carry down, will the goliath fix that, and also how versitile is it if the coverstock is tweaked

are you sure it's carrydown or is your ball burning up too much energy as it goes down the lane ? if your ball speed is on the slower side your ball may be using up too much energy. if your release is too end-over-end roll it may be rolling out. but assuming there is carrydown the goliath is the most aggressive ball brunswick has ever made. it is wetsanded 400 grit from the factory----very aggressive. you will need speed, oil, spin, or loft to get it down the lane. thankfully, the particle coverstock is very user friendly. you can wetsand it finer( 800, 1,000, 2,000 grit etc.)very easily. or, if you need more length brunswicks rough buff or factory finish high gloss polish will work quite well. good luck.

im sure its carry down, the ball never starts moveing until 1/2 feet before the pins and even there hits realy weak (as in never drives through the pocket), hit a lot of weak pocket wich leaves so many splits or the ball never moves at all (i use an alter ego, not all that good at anything but med oil with med oiled heads) reply if you feel there is a better more versitile carry-down ball, doesnt have to be brunswick

perhaps you do need a high load particle ball like the goliath. in box finish( 400 grit wetsanded )the goliath will pick up a roll in the midlane----which is what you want when the lanes are slick/tight.
