Siege Question
« on: December 16, 2009, 11:31:10 AM »
I think different people get different results with this just like a few other balls on the market.  But what I'm wondering is what the majority of folks here are getting out of this ball.  Is it a stronger move downlane or more like the Maxxx Zone?

Same question for the Wild Card, but for the record I've heard of it being stronger downlane.

I have been following the JPBA bowlers using the SEIGE.
It seem to be more popular comparing to other "B" models

The Siege has a quicker transition in the midlane when compared to the Maxx Zone, allowing the bowler to see the ball more at the breakpoint.  It does appear to be snappier than the Maxx Zone but still has a very strong read of the middle part of the lane.  It is not a ball that will allow you to get inside and bend it on the typical house shot, no matter how you throw it, however, on true oily conditions it has more angle than any of the other Brunswick balls.
