First tournament of the season for us AK'ers, and myself and my teammate did quite well with the Ulti Max and Damage series winning the team portion of the tournament. After 26 games Joey Krison qualified 3rd for the singles throwing the Ulti Max and Damage nearly all weekend. I qualified 1st by nearly 200 sticks over 2nd in singles throwing the Ulti Max, Massive Damage and Damage. Unfortunately, lost in the final 185 to 205 to Ron Mohr who has had a pretty decent year on the Senior Tour so I ain't too bent out of shape over that. Not a fan of the one-game rolloffs myself.
Also, James Krafft fired a 300 with the Ulti Max, the one and only of the tournament. The next highest game was a 268 by Krison, also with the Ulti Max.
Really excited to see how the Nexus series fits into the current Brunswick line. These current releases are really really good.
Was a low scoring affair as 208 lead singles and -6 made the top 5.
