I don't think there is any grit in the Brunsick Factory Polish, but I could be wrong.

I used some today for the first time and it did seem to have some grit in it. I was surprised to see this. It looked like alot thinner and finer version of Rough Buff to me.

NO grit in Brunswick's high gloss polish. The underlying level stays the same.

Prove it to yourself by sanding a Brunswick pearl to 800 grit and applying their polish. Then apply 1500 grit + their polish and compare the ball's reactions to the base finish of 400 grit + the polish, while on the same or similar oil pattern AND amount.

I can confirm this: no grit in the polish. In fact, you can fine-tune the ball very well through the underlying grit gase. When I sand a ball to 1.000 grit (grey pad) and apply the Brunswick polish, I can still see the sanding lines under 4 coats of polish? It does not even out.

There is not grit, no abrasive in the polish. THEREFORE there can be no "level"!
