Interesting, and about time. BTW: "BVP" as a line name is gone, now we have the "Performance Series".

Thanks for the hint!

I saw them in "inaction" yesterday.  Really good looking bowling balls.

IIRC, the release date for both of 'em is June 23.

Don't know...however, I do know that the Swarm is supposed to be slightly stronger overall than the Rampage, and the C-Head stronger than the Wizard.

I cannot see that the Swarm is any stronger than the Rampage - it has the same PK18 pearl cover, and its core has almost identical figures to the bell core in the BVP balls - even less differential. Its performance rating is equal to the Rampage, so there is IMO no real progress.

The C-head is a nice step up from the Wizard, though, with a rollier core. Should make for an excellent oil ball, and with some oolish I expect it to be a great all-rounder on medium conditions. I am looking forward tro see on in real life, because the solid ivory/copper/blue mix looks.. interesting

I asked Rico on 4-29 if the Swarm was a hybrid cover like the Rampage, and according to him it's a true pearl.

It should be more angular, which makes it look stronger to some, so define "strong".  Skid/snap balls look strong, but my definition of a stronger cover is that it handles more oil, or earlier.

Well, the cover on the Rampage was tweaked *down* to make it weaker, so I see no reason why the Swarm cover can't be tweaked to make it stronger...

The only true comparison that has been put out is the compared both balls to the Sidewinder.  Copperhead was stronger and the Swarm was weaker.
