Help from the nation
« on: March 19, 2005, 01:09:11 PM »
Ok, here is the deal. I have recently picked up a Blazing Inferno and just today I got the original Inferno (PBA version). The OI has not been drilled yet, it is 15.4 lb, about a 3" pin and 3.6 oz of top weight. I throw medium revs, higher speed and I am looking for a drilling that will be fairly stable through the front part of the lane, but will really have a sharp backend.
I am considering an Ultimate Inferno for the heavy oil conditions I might see. If I get one, what drilling would you suggest that would get the ball rolling early on soupy conditions.

Thanks Brunski. Most of the UIs I have seen have been polished, even for some pretty oily conditions. Is it that much ball that it starts that early? I know many people have been on the Inferno band wagon for a couple of years now. While I have been using stuff by other companies, so please excuse my ignorance.

Thanks,

i was surprised as to how aggressive the ultimate inferno is when polished. i've tried to use this ball anywhere from 800 grit wetsanded( factory finish )to finished with a 4,000 grit abralon pad and highly polished. while not as aggressive as a particle ball( raging inferno )it is very aggressive for a reactive ball.
