Help identifying a ball?
« on: March 22, 2010, 04:29:06 PM »
Picked up a Brunswick ball at a garage sale for $5, so, pretty much nothing to lose on it. It just says Zone on it, not TZone or any of that stuff, so I'm thinking maybe its an older one? If anyone could give me any info on it at all, it'd be a big help so I can avoid finding time to go to the pro shop for him to tell me its crap not worth redrilling or something of that nature.

Thanks,
Ken

I do believe the older Target Zones only said Zone.  You should post a pic, because we can all guess what it is, but until we see it, there is no telling.

That does appear to be a polyester spare ball.

Pretty sure that's a Target Zone. Those never said "target zone" on them, just the zone label.

I concur that it is a plastic / polyester bowling ball, i.e. Target Zone.  I still have a Dark Blue Sparkle as my spare ball from the mid 90s.

Thanks a bunch for the help everyone. I'll see if one of my friends with only reactive balls want this for spares.
