Help me select a ball. *future purchase*
« on: March 07, 2005, 03:42:34 PM »
So im looking for say maybe 2-3 balls, no real hurry.  I have equipment i can redrill also.

Looking for some equpiment that will match up well to a Med/slow (approx 17mph) stroker (200-300) rpms.  I usually bowl on a THS, but im looking to branch out say next season after i work on my game more.

Looking for...

Heavy/med
med/light
light

Currently have.. Impulse zone, classic zone.  not sure on the layout's.

Keep the Impulse for heavier conditions, just cut the polish off it.  The classic with a length drilling could handle the lighter side of med.  If the PG dry is any good at all, you could use it for light conditions.  I guess we'll wait and see on that one.

OR

I use my XXXL for light conditions.

Yea, i have been thinking of doing some surface changes to the impulse, its currently having the thumb pitch changed.  After that i will try and tweak it a little to see what kinda reaction i will get from it.

So my current equipment should match up pretty well.

Also looking for something to handle carrydown, someone suggested a Punisher in another thread.  So im guessing that would fit right into the med/light category as well.

My Absolute handles carrydown better than anything else I have, but it won't fit into your med/light area.

Yea, it would give me overlap.  But that isnt necessarly a bad thing so to speak, bad for my wallet but could be good for the bag.
