hi guys, i'm new to bowling and this wonderful page about bowling balls. i got a columbia white dot 4months ago but i believe its time now to upgrade to a better ball. i hav a limited budget and i need a ball dat can hook quite a lot but easy to control.. any suggestions? i'm also considering power groove proactive- black sparkle, is it worth the money??

the operator of my pro shop really overcharge and is rather money minded.. he always seems to recommend only balls dat are really ex and not for me.. so, i would need some help in picking a ball 1st as a guide line b4 deciding.. i'm taking part in college competitions and really need a gd and in-expensive ball soon.. any gd suggestions.. thx!
