Polished Mammoth
« on: January 13, 2007, 01:44:49 PM »
I have a chance to get a NIB Mammoth for a really good price. Since I already have a heavy oil ball (STRIKE ZONE) where would a polished Mammoth fit in my arsenal or would another ball be a better choice?

Strike Zone (HEAVY)
PYRO        (MEDIUM)
ONSLAUGHT   (DRY)

Or could I polish the SZ and use the Mammoth for heavy oil?

BOWLING IS FUN NO MATTER WHAT YOU SCORE. BUT A 300 IS ALWAYS NICE.

STRIKE ZONE, ONSLAUGHT & PYRO. STAND 22 AND THROW 10 OUT TO 5 AND CRUSH THE POCKET. AT LEAST THAT IS THE PLAN OF THE NIGHT...

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD BOWLING!!!

The Mammoth is more ball than your strike zone, I would polish the strike zone.  I have polished my mammoth to try it for me gave me more length and pop on the backend.  Pretty much like any other ball getting polished.  I perfer it dull and will be changing it back.  The best thing about surface changes is that you can always change it back.  Experiment and see what works for you good luck.
