According to the auction they are new, but I would always ask going by the pics.

You see that a lot on ebay for different things. Someone  pays retail for something then decides they don't want it and tries to sell it on ebay for a round what they paid for it.

Ebay is great more often for buyers then sellers.

Oh, there is a used, unplugged Swamp Monster on German ebay for "only" US$200+... a steal!
Has been roaming the place for weeks, wonder if the seller gets it....?
