Coverstock of Intense Inferno

For those who have the Intense Inferno:

If you've had your ball a while (I've had mine for a few weeks now, and like it very much) is the coverstock holding up or is it a bit battered like mine is?  This ball seems to be "softer" (for lack of a better word) and there are quite a few marks along my track, unlike the other equipment I have (at least on the other balls I've been throwing, it's much less noticeable).

Is it the houses I'm using the II in, or is it an Activator coverstock thing?

Do you other balls track up like this one?  Are you throwing the II further outside than normal?

I bowl in three houses (1 synthetic, 2 wood).  The synthetic house is the one where I've used this ball the most, and I can honestly say that no other ball I have appears as battered as this one does.  (Note to Andrew:  I'm playing a normal type shot, preferably the 7-8 board down and in on most nights, but this ball does let me get in the 15-18 board range when they dry up a little).

Maybe it is the house, I don't know.  It is one of the lightest colors I've thrown in a while, and maybe it's showing more wear and tear that I can't see quite as well on my other equipment because they're darker in color.

The White Dot is still in good shape even though it's a light color -- Cotton Candy Pink

I'm going to give the Intense a good scrubbing with some Simple Green later today after work (boo, hiss!) and see if the look of the ball doesn't improve some.  There is no difference in ball reaction, and I was just wondering if anyone else had seen this happen before.

I have approximately 150+ games on mine.  Coverstock is holding up extremely well.

I clean mine after each set with Ultimate Black Magic Rejuvenator.  It seems to be working extremely well.

I bowl on synthetics.

Simple Green rocks

I didn't realize the ball was so dirty (I actually prefer 91% alcohol over most cleaners because it really gets belt marks and white spots from pin paint off easily.  The Simple Green cleaned it up nicely.  The track marks are a lot less noticeable now.

I have sanded it and polished it. I have re-sanded it and re-polished it. I have had it plugged and redrilled. Then I re-sanded it and re-polished it. I have used it on old wood and on Brunswick's Anvillanes synthetics. It is holding up great and hits like a freight train. I have easily 50 games on it and it shows NOTHING.

Take that to the bank!

I'd buy another if I thought it was wearing inthe least. I have a Riot Zone with 500 games on it. This seems to be following the same wear path - zilch!
