Title: How should I drill my new Ultimate Inferno??
Post by: Captainobvious on August 27, 2004, 08:08:36 AM
I had rpeviously been throwing a Roto Grip Fuel. I throw from left with a longer shot, and look for a breaking point about 4/5'ths down the lane with an aggressive break. In league conditions, when carry-down occurs, I can throw right, straight and in. The ball is a 15 lb.

Are you looking to have this ball react the same as the Fuel, or differently?  If differently, what do you want the Ultimate to do?

Please be more specific on the type of player you are.
Degree of rotation, rev rate, and what type of pattern....

Im looking for similar reaction to the fuel, but in heavy oil conditions. I trow a high rev ball in the 15mph range.

Sorry, lane conditions are usually long pattern with a fairly dry back end. Noce oil starts to carry to the back, I will need this ball to continue to bite.

Easy answer....drill aggressive equipment aggressively, moderate stuff moderate, and dry stuff weak.  Don't try to get a ball to do what it's not designed to accomplish.
