I loved this thing in the

Impact Zone

I swear it was in the

Pro Zone Violet DESPITE it saying it is Raven Quantum core!

See this for another view of

Looks like Impact Zone core to me!

What was this core called?  Why did I love it so much?  Will it ever be back?

If balance holes can change the reaction of a ball and it isn't because the static weights are being altered, then why doesn't core shape matter? With diffrent core shapes the amount of core mass removed with gripping and balance holes will be diffrent depending on the actual shape of the core, right? So even with same numbers and drillings the reactions (in theory) must be different depending on the shape once the holes have been drilled?

CG-CORESHAPE-RG-DIFF-SURFACEPREP-PINPLACEMENT-MB-XHOLE-NOMADDAH!!!

I think that about covers everything that does NOT affect the ball!  Now whatever is left is what matters most that affects ball reaction!

Hey Lucky,

You forgot that core shape is in the ShockZone also, (which you sold to me, heh, heh)

One of my favorite all-time balls, even though I refuse to buy Brunswick since they moved to Mexico!!

Must be why we are still using lightbulb cores of various densities.  The densities give us the RG and the diff.  Everything else doesn't matter.

On the bright side, you will surely save Brunswick uncounted thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars on core designers and test molds.  Not to mention all the CAD and simulation tools.
