How to drill my Rampage
« on: December 20, 2006, 03:09:00 PM »
I am getting a Rampage and I want it to long. I want to use it on medium-light oil, so I don't want a huge backend. What drilling will allow me to get some length but not have a huge backend?

the pearl should get you the length, the layout will smooth things out.

you just saw my vid, checkout combat zone tracer #2 for its layout.

enough length, smoother arc for a pearl.

4 3/4" Pin to PAP.

How long is the pin on your Rampage? If you want the ball to go long, maybe putting the pin in between and above your two fingers, and kicking the cg slightly to the right or keeping it in your palm would give you a but of length and a lot of backend. I have mine drilled stacked leverage, and even though that's an earlier type of layout, my Rampage still gets some good length. Hope this helps!

Drill it 5 1/2 pin to pap, with the pin as low as possible.  I think on bwicks drill sheet its 4E.
