chip33az,
In a case like this, I highly reccommend going to the local shop and spending a few extra bucks, but MAKE SURE IT IS A GOOD,REPUTABLE SHOP WITH KNOWLEDGABLE DRILLERS!
The shop will have the equipment you need to get a weight on your ball and most of them can order balls with requested specs like topweight and pin placement.
They can also look at how your ball is now, listen to what you want a ball to do, watch you throw the ball, and determine what ball specs would be best for you and how to drill it to get the desired results, but only if the driller is a skilled, knowledgable individual who cares about his work and the bowlers. You can get a hack to drill it, but would it be right?
Believe me, if you have never had a ball professionally drilled, and you are desirous to be good, it is worth the time and effort to get one done right and take a few lessons.
