Hybrid zing vs Hybrid prism?
« on: January 13, 2020, 06:13:50 PM »
These seem pretty close. Which one is weaker and by how much?

They both seem kinda down lane. I'm thinking of trying one for a step up from my hero on fresh THS and sanding them later if they are better suited as heavy oil sport shot balls. Easy to sand & fill in the arsenal gap between the 2 later with a closer, dv8 warrant, vapor zone hybrid or squatch hybrid if need be.

While both are angular, the Prism Hybrid is a touch cleaner and more responsive. The core in the Zing rolls really heavy so that accounts for the slightly slower response compared to the Prism Hybrid. Both are fantastic choices and will do what you're looking for.

Nick, any sense how the Conspiracy Theory would compare to these two? I know it's not a true hybrid, but the textured pearl approach seems to have some hybrid characteristics…..

Conspiracy Theory isn’t as quick off the spot compared to the 2 hybrids. Overall hook is a touch less from what I see.

Yeah, that's what I see with my Conspiracy Theory as well. It's a better option playing more direct than giving it a ton of room side-to-side in my experience. When I have enough oil to throw it that ball is dominant.

Thanks guys... kinda looking for something that I can use on a longer condition that will really come off the spot quickly. I had a Golden Jackal (touched up to 4000g) with a 70x 3.75x20 layout (the Mo Pinel max hook layout) which worked (until my PAP changed).

Doesnt sound like the Rad CP is the right replacement, nor these two hybrids.

Maybe the Trident Nemesis will prove worthy?:
