Ok to polish Total Inferno?

Just got mine polished today so I could use it on more patterns.  Has anybody else done this and had success?  Thanks,

I had a TI before I gave it to my friend and I didn't like it until I polished it. Once I polished the TI it became one of my favorite balls. If my friend didn't need a ball I would not have parted with it.

I think it depends on what part of the lane you play, but yes, if you play closer to friction some shine can improve carry percentage. I wouldn't go high gloss at first, just something closer to rough buff then try the ball and work your way from there.

polishing my total inferno made this the most skid/flip ball i've had from brunswick.

I felt the same way but decided I would try one last thing and that was sanding it down to 600 grit and adding polish. Now i'm glad I didn't sell it, it's a great ball now!

I've had a ton of success with the Inferno line, really wish I could get the Original again...it cracked on me just before I quit bowling...good timing I suppose though.  Now I only have the Total and a ball my brother gave me, think it's its like a Super Charge or something from Storm.  Really would like to try out one of the other Infernos, i.e. Radical or something thats not a piece of chalk.
