Brunswick Fury or Ebonite Total NV
« on: February 26, 2007, 06:43:11 AM »
I was wondering what people were favoring these days. The Fury or the Total NV. I am a down and in-or out and in bowler with a speed of around 17 to 18 mph. My Spit Fire and T-Road Pearl are good balls, but i want something that reacts better. What ball do you think would be better for a stroker like myself.

The Fury is really aggressive, but from what I have seen and heard, the TNV is too. The Fury seems to be slightly more smoother in my opinion.

Two different reaction shapes.  From what I've seen the Total NV seems to be longer and more angular and the Fury seems to be more of a roll monster.

With your ball speed the Fury will probably match up better due to the fact that it's a solid reactive vs. a pearl.  The Fury can be shined to be sharper on the backend, but if you're going through any oil it will read the lane sooner.

Pearl reactives are great, but they skid longer and don't respond as well to carrydown.  You've got two pearls already, why not go with a stronger cover?
