Hello All Bowlers,  I am very new to this site, so bear with me...... I have in my possession (from a former neighbor who is in ill health.  He wanted no money for it at all!!  [I tried, but was turned down])  a Brunswick Imperial Bowling Ball - 16pounds, Gray/White marble color//hard rubber, and hardly any marks/scratches on it.  It came with its own bag = an oldie, as there was no room for shoes.  It has been re-drilled once{conventional}, but I am planning to get it re-drilled for my conventional finger grip.  
My question is ---- Does anyone have an idea on how old this ball may be?  My guess is about 30-40 years old.  And also, what will this ball do for me = is it a hooking ball, or a straight ball?   Any/all replies will be greatly appreciated...  Thanks,,,
BTW ---- I carry a 160 average with a Columbia 300 Trooper, so I don't know if this older ball will improve or hinder my scores.

Hello Joburnell15,   Not that I know of.  I just listed the Ball in my Post from what I saw written on it = Brunswick Imperial.  I'm guessing this Bowling Ball is at least 30 years old.  Hope you or others are able to help me in figuring out more about this Ball.  I do plan to take it to a Pro Shop [here in Iowa] tomorrow after work to see if I can get it re-drilled.  Thanks for the reply back....
