I wanna go with the nation all the way...can i?
« on: February 12, 2005, 09:28:03 AM »
So i will explain which is my and my pro shopp guys idea.
I wanna drill an arsenal with 3 balls. One to go long and then snap (theres no question about this.. it will be an absolute with a 3" pin and 2.5oz of top),we are gonna drill one ball with maximun hook,3" pin and 3oz of top (people recommend me the storm vertigo...whick brunswick ball can i drill here?? the ultimate, the impulse, another absolute???),and then we wanna drill one ball with a very high rg diffrenetial and drill it 6 3/4 off pap to go really straight(another time 3" pin and 3.5 oz of top...here the ball that i was thinking was the hammer real deal because it has a 0.065 of rg differential...i could not find any brunswick ball with a high rg differential...why is that...the ultimate and the absolute are the highers with 0.050...so what can i do???
which 3 brunswick balls u guys reccomend me to these 3 ideas
one to go long and snap (aboslute)
one to maximun hook (absolute,ultimate,imopulse???)
and another one with a high rg differential

If you want a skid snap ball, the intense would be better.  For max hook, go with the goliath.  None stronger.  As for the third thing, you have messed up your terms.  High differential does NOT make the ball go straigter longer, it is high RG that does that.  That's very important.  The real deal will not even be close to what you want.  Power grooves have very high RGs so you might look at them.

If you are going to drill some Brunswick stuff up.  I'd make sure to drill up an ultimate for the maximum hook ball.  This is a great ball and is very tweakable when it comes to the coverstock.  Dulled up it will roll real early almost with a particle type characteristic and on the other end with shiny you get good length with a very strong move.

Also, the Original Inferno is a great ball that could fit in your arsenal where depends on how you drill it.  You probably could substitute the Absolute here, but I haven't thrown one yet so I wouldn't say so for sure.

I think these are Brunswicks best balls available right now and with them you can build a great arsenal.  There are so many good options though it's hard to come down just to three.  There's the Monster Bruiser (all around great ball), Classic Zone (many swear by this one), and many more.
