I just had my Fuze Igniter stolen. Well actually I forgot it in the ball return after a long practice set saturday nite, I didn't realize until I went to clean my balls the next day.
Anyway I need to find a replacement and I was thinking about getting a II drilled like this:

Or a AI drilled like this:

Can anyone in the nation help me decide? Which one would fit better with my UI?
Sorry I'm not up on the technical lingo, I hope the pictures help.

The Igniter was a pretty unique ball, even for Brunswick. The closest these days might be an Intense or a Punisher. Actually, it was sort of in between these balls. You might be able to manipulate the drilling AND the surface of one or the other to emulate an Igniter. I've kept mine and the Intense; there's just enough difference to make each a worthwhile keeper in its own right.
You might want to search Ebay for an NIB one; they pop up ocassionally.

i would disagree on this, i would say original Inferno because it has the midlane that the ignitor provided. i have had a few customers ask for replacements for this ball and the inferno did it best. keeping true to the skid snap reaction and the midlane roll it had.
Classic zone goes too long and II is too condition specific.

I would have to diagree with both of you. There is an exact replica of the igniter in the form of an overseas ball by brunswick called the smart zone 1. Also similar to that is the bionic zone 1. I dont believe you will get the desired reation out of either of those balls you listed.

Actually, I have a NIB 16-pound Igniter that I could be talked out of. I can PM you specs if you're interested.

Well, it would seem that Brunswick agrees with me. I just checked the Brunswick Ball comparison chart. The Punisher fits in the J7-K7 range, while the Intense fits in the N7-O7 range. Brunswick places the Ignitor in the L6 slot, one step up in the "Sharp Turn" category and halfway in between in "Hook Potential" category. The only one closer was the Blazing and that was 2 different balls, even accoridng to Brunswick; so, no one knows which one you can get.
