Difference In Ultimate
« on: March 02, 2004, 01:26:29 AM »
Can anyone share some info of how their Ultimate reacted to polishing. Like did the shape of the hook change or did it just go a tad longer? More backend or the same backend? I have my ball drilled for midlane and to be honest it burns up a bit early on the common house shot around here. When i do find md-hvy oil this ball is a gem though. I'm thinking maybe a little polish will allow me to use it on more conditions. Any experiences appreciated. Thancks all.

98, I've drilled about 6 of them thus far, all of them roll great on fresher shots, but applying a factory finish polish to them (I've done this to all except for one) merely allowed them to move a little right, but carry much better for a longer period of time.  I think this will be one of those balls that rolls just as good if not better on a wider variety of shots with a polish on it.  I havent noticed any of the shiny ones rolling badly, and they still read the midlanes very well.  Hope this helps. :0
