Impulse Zone
« on: January 26, 2005, 03:10:50 AM »
There is a local pro at our house. He said the Impulse was his most hooking ball, so I asked if I could throw, he had no problem, so I threw it.  It is a good hitting ball(every shot was 8 no matter if if was flush or through the nose.), but I couldn't get it to hook anymore then my OI,and i never got a strike with it in 2 games.  What i was wanting to know is has anyone elses had this problem.

Mine isn't the most hooking ball in the bag (the Warp Zone is), but I don't seem to have too much trouble striking with the Impulse.

I have an Impulse Zone (14#) and have no problems getting it to hook. Even strike if it hits the pocket from almost any angle.  When it hooks, no matter from where, it never rolls out for me, it just keeps on going and going and etc. If I miss my target to the right and get this ball out so far and almost in the gutter, and you would think there is no way it can get back to the pocket, I guarantee you that it will come back and hit the pocket. This ball has become the first ball out of my bag. It is a very versatile ball and can be played on a big variety of conditions. It can be sanded, polished, etc.
