impulse zone on sport
« on: January 26, 2005, 06:27:23 AM »
Has anyone tried an impulse zone yet on a sport condition? BTM rated the ball pretty high for sport conditions.
The only one higher this month was the Vertigo...

The Impulse is killer on heavy oil, nice soft hand and that ball will rev up and roll.

I don't bowl on certified sport, but our Monday night league is a Brunswick Challenge league, and during this round, we have a 47' pattern put on over the 6pm. (no strip) Unstoppable first 2 games, but once the track area burns up, I have to switch to something mild. I've had more success playing straighter lines with the Impulse, but for a Hoss like tenpinitis, he can swing the whole lane with ease.

No waaaay, the Zone line is so tuneable to any bowler. Mason has 2 Impulses and has seen you bowl, I'm sure he would be able to suggest a layout for you. Going by stats alone and where you bowl, I'd set the ball up with a leverage pin and the PSA next to the thumb (modified #4)

If you're serious about the Impulse, have Mason find you one with the Pin, CG and PSA all inline. Will make life a lot easier for the ball driller to do that layout.
