Hi,
I'm currently using a Time Zone for medium oil. It skids a bit too long but it will still snap into the pocket area if there's backend. If there are fair-bit of carrydown, my TZ doesn't even twitch!
I have an Ultimate Inferno with 0-1" PIN & drilled for heavy oil & carry down. Sometimes it will hook early or burn out. So, it's a bit difficult to control on Medium oil lanes. My Brusier is a general purpose, benchmark & medium lane condition ball. Definitely not suitable for med oil.
So Im thinking of getting a Impulse Zone (with 1-2" CG-PIN) and drill for medium oil with a eariler roll. Would this fit?
Thanks for the advice.
Regards,
Alan

You bet!
You definately do not need to lay this ball out to roll earlier, allow the cover to do all the work. I'd go with a longer pin and use a higher rg layout with the pin above the finger somewhere, and tune the PSA according to your ball speed.

Pardon my ignorance, but...what do you see as the difference between a medium lane condition and medium oil? Also, what is it about the Bruiser that makes it unsuitable for what you define as medium oil?
