I recently got a Radical Inferno and I have noticed that I see a vastly different reaction out of it between the two houses I bowl in league at. I am curious to see if anyone else has noticed if the have a vastly different reaction on Pro Anvil lanes with the Radical Inferno.
House #1 is wooden and the Radical gets down the lane nicely and makes a big move to the pocket. House #2 has new Brunswick Pro Anvil lanes and I can barely get the Radical to hook at all.
For example, at House #1 my Big Blue Pearl hooks at least three boards less than the Radical Inferno. However, at House #2 I can play eight to ten boards deeper with Big Blue Pearl than the Radical Inferno. Even my SlayR has more pop on the back-end than the Radical has on the Pro Anvil lanes. I really don't think the oil pattern itself is causing such a big difference in reaction between the houses because all of my other equipment (Big Blue, Vertigo, Big Blue Pearl, SlayR) all react similarly at both houses.
Also, what would you recommend that I do to the ball to give it a little more bit on the back end at House #2?...Take the polish off and go to a 1000 grit abralon...4000 grit?
