C System 2.5
« on: March 18, 2012, 07:55:49 PM »
Just bought a used C System 2.5 off of Ebay and I want to know just exactly what to expect. You can see it here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/110841524833?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_500wt_951

I expect it to be long and smooth and handle more oil than my Blue Sparkle Gryphon. The seller claims less than 10 games on this ball and he doesn't believe the cover has ever been altered.

The 2.5 will be like many Brunswick pearl reactives except that it has the friction additive. Stronger through the pin deck with less deflection if you are lined up properly. I expect that you are going to like it.

The 2.5 was the first ball in the C*(System) series which has a strong pearl coverstock.  The 2.5 takes well to coverstock changes either polishing it or sanding it.  Depending on how you drill it, you can have it go longer and make a strong move; or, it can be more smooth controlled hook.  Good luck with the 2.5.

This should be a great ball for you. I absolutely love mine. Without knowing your specs, I would guess this ball drill should be fine for the typical house shot. It's a very versatile ball, so don't be afraid to change the surface. But, do yourself a favor and clean it after each use.

I found the 2.5 to be very versatile........I used various surfaces, angles of attack, and different degrees of axis rotation and had good results with all of them.
