Do they lose reaction / were to quickly? I told a friend I bought an Absolute Inferno and his first words were... they lose reaction to fast?

Tell your friend that the people holding the trophies the last 2 weeks on the PBA tour seemed to enjoy the reaction the ball gave them. I have had every inferno except the Intense, and have not seen the coverstock give up on any of the balls. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

They do seem to yank harder off the dry when "broke in".
I probably put 300 or more games on that OI you sold me. I never even resurfaced it, I resanded once a month to 400 grit, but never gave it a fully resurface. I was very surprised. I've had other bwicks track up much, much faster than the activator cover.
Nodsleinad--Tell you friend to try one and see for himself.

Nod, like others have said, it's QUITE the opposite.

i think you'll find that the activator reactive coverstock on brunswick bowling balls is very durable. i've had great luck with following brunswicks guidelines for keeping the coverstock as "new" as possible.
-
I have both the UI and the Raging...both have been absolutley incredible as far as durability and impact on the pins...I think the Activator coverstock is awesome!!
Just my humble opinion...

I wouldn't call it most durable... Black diamonds are much harder

Plus, i believe soaker holds up better than activator.
