Title: Inferno Coverstock
Post by: bigfish on February 23, 2005, 11:05:50 AM
The ball spots on it that looks like it has polish on it that has not been whipped off and it doesnt come off at all. Can anyone help me.  I tryed sanding it and while the ball is still wet it looks like its normal, but as soon as it dries it looks like it has the dried up polish on it.  What causes this and does it affect the coverstock and how can i fix it.  Please let me know.

Has the ball been exposed to any extreme temperatures, either hot or cold?

My Inferno shows a light haze on it at times, such as you describe. It has never had any effect on the use of the ball. It still hooks and hits like it did out of the box. It has been sanded down to about a 600 grit.
