hook/stop). Now, on most conditions, it is smooth,
predictable and hits a TON.

Have you EVER cleaned or repolished the ball? If you haven't repolished the ball then the track area has been sanded down by the lane. That isn't a bad thing in your case. After a few games of use the track area of the ball is normally around 600-800 grit. So, that is probably why you are seeing a more predictable reaction. A highly polished pearl resin will squirt in oil and usually jump hard off the dry boards.
You will have some folks on here say that their ball died or lost reaction after so many games. I have NEVER had a ball quit on me. Do they loss some overall reaction from when they are new? Yes. But, I have never had a ball die on me.
If you like the reaction now, which apparently you do, I would just keep in clean and continue they way it is.

My personal experience with the Inferno is that after about 20 games it became a real mean animal compared to new. It has now become the best ball I've ever owned. I just smoothed the cover down (not a total resurface)to hopefully keep it mean. I do clean it after every night with Clean and Dull. It has never shown any sign of dying, just keeps improving.
