my friend has high ball speed with lots of revs, inferno is drilled 4.5x4.5, the ball has a terrible reaction, it looked like it was burning up too early, it stood up and looked like it was going to make the turn left and didnt hardly do anything. we polished it up a little  thinking it would roll better, it was worse, the ball looked like it was going to make the move and almost went right it went so strait. i was looking at buying one of these but after watching his it scares me. the ball reaction was BAD, this was on a wide open house shot by the way, 2 lanes down i shot 254, 297, 225. has anyone had an inferno look this bad.

I finally had to get rid of mine as has one of my teammates.  The combination of core and coverstock just doesn't seem to work if you have the wrong rev/speed ratio.  Not that you can't find the pocket, but rather, over/unders leading to inconsistency and thus adjustment problems when trying to even out the ball to carry.  I'd try taking the ball down a couple of notches from its pearl state to something closer to 800 and see what happens.  It burned up for me dulled, so it wasn't worth the risk.

Gave mine to a kid with good speed, lots of sideroll and loads of pure revs and boom, he kills with it.

I have a friend who also has this ball and has high speed with lots of revs and he has the same problem. The ball goes down, makes the turn, and then goes strait as an arrow and hits like a crumpled up newspaper! I'm not saying anything bad about this ball, its just not for everyone.

I had the same problem, I had 2 of these and didnt like either one. But the more I threw them the more impressive they got. I did have to take the box finish off with some grey scotch brite then reapplied some 400grt compound polish. They slowly became my favs in the bag. Give them a chance before u sell it.
