inferno question

i picked up an inferno the other day. i haven't used a brunswick ball for about the last 10 years. for what kind of conditions is the inferno made for and what kind of reaction will it give me?

If it's the original Inferno (orange and smoke gray), and if it's in box finish, it'll be clean in front, with a nice transition from skid to roll, and a moderate to hard arc in back.

The original Inferno has worked well for me on medium house shots and Sport-type conditions that don't have a lot of volume.

Yup. By today's standards, this is a strong medium condition ball. Low RG core will let it rev up easily, nice, booming back end, but not snappy unless you have lost of revs. Good ball, you can do a lot with it!

When it came out, it was advertised for "medium to oily" shots - and at that time (just 5 years ago?) this was true. Today the OOB ball is a medium condition piece - pretty much the same as with the original Trauma.

I can use mine on near anything except toast or something like Shark. Still one of the best balls I own.

thanks for the replies guys. i ended up going 5x4 1/2 pin over bridge and no x-hole. the layout i chose should be ok for the conditions here in germany since i have a lot of hand. i'm going to try it out this evening. thanks again guys.
