Inferno question

Have any of you guys sanded your original Inferno for use on heavier conditions and if you have, has it been a strong performer when you used it on that kind of shot?

I always had better luck with a sheened surface, knocking off the polish to 1000 abralon.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm going to try both and see which is better for what I'm looking for. I throw 14 MPH and and have a stroker style and have had trouble on oil and more agressive coverstocks roll out for me. Thanks again!

I used to have one and I knocked off the polish and sanded to 1500 grit.

the "dullest" i had mine was wetsanded 1,000 grit. it worked great on a fresh shot but it really performed better when it was wetsanded 2,000 grit. it didn't burn up quite so early.

So, If I'm I getting you guys right, an original Inferno either sanded or with the shine knocked off will do the job on a heavier pattern?
