For those bowlers who roll both the original Inferno
and new Intense Inferno ... which ball matches
up better overall for your game .....

I haven't thrown the II side by side enough to make a very good judgment.  My OI is flippy, which most people don't see out of theirs.  My II seems to be the same overall hook with more midlane and alittle less backend.

I like the II but I don't know if I will keep it.  I couldn't anything for my OI, b/c of the plug work.  I may try to trade the II or sell for $$ towards a Punisher.

As to which ball matches up better for me, the answer is yes.

The original Inferno works best for me on opened-up conditions or when I know I've got some dry to work with to the right.  If I have to square up and play a tighter shot with it, I don't always get the corners out consistently.

OTOH, the Intense seems to like to be played more through the oil.  If I try to go left-to-right with it, the midlane reaction becomes just a bit touchy.  However, it's money on conditions when I can go more direct to the pocket.

The two really do complement each other very well.
