I finally got an Inferno. I bought it used from Tenpinitis, it is drilled pin above ring, cg kicked out about an inch or so. With a weight hole, past my axis, it has about 3/8 ounce of side weight.
I gave it a light resurface with scotchbrite pads, I didn't polish it at all. I used the white pads as my last sand, so about 1000 grit or so. I threw it on a heavier pattern, PBA pattern B. It didn't do much, but it did make a move at the backend. I found a decent line to the pocket right up 15.
Today, I tried it on our fresh house pattern, standard house shot buffed to 38'. I was able to play two different lines with great success here. The first line was up 13. I loved the reaction, easy length nice hard move at the back. I wouldn't call the move snappy but a hard move. The other line I played was up the boards outside of 5. I looked 4 board and I could hit 4 or 5 and carry. I really like the reaction off the corner. I carried good, I left 2 nine pins, 1 seven that was absolutely buried.
I am extremely impressed with the Inferno. Now I know what all the talk was about. I threw 6 to 9 games with it tonight. What a wonderful ball to have, I have fallen in love with it already.

I tried it polished tonight. This thing goes a long ways and flips over with a vengeance. I only threw it a couple of frames. I will definitely keep it sanded from now on. I just wanted to see what it would do with some polish on it.

maybe.....j/k. Have you ever seen a ball and just knew you'd love it. I guess I saw that in the Inferno. I saw it in the first Werewolf I bought. I won ND State Scratch Singles with that one. I don't know what it is but I feel confident throwing that ball.

I'm the one that traded that Inferno to tenpinitis. Glad to see it made its way to someone that is enjoying it. I know that I did. Hope it treats you well.

LMAO, Um yeah, that's it. All I know is there wouldn't be a lane 1 if brunwick hadnt felt sorry for them and gave then the design for the latest core. The big b diamond.
