Ultimate vs. Absolute vs. possibly Smokin'
« on: September 23, 2005, 05:29:46 PM »
I am planning on getting a new ball, I want to get something with lots of hook that has good control. I usually play on pretty well oiled lanes. I am looking for a ball that goes long and has a good hook at the end. I know the Ult. is vesitile and hooks early but it is at the top of my list right now but I am still in consideration of the Absolute and I don't know much about the Smokin to know if it would match what I want.
Any suggestions???

Thanks in advance

I have an UI with a fairly dull surface probably around 500 grit or so. The proshop dude was using a burgandy SB not new so it's probably a little higher than 500 grit. Anyway, mine is drilled for length and backend and it works well on mediums on up. Just used it today in league and it got down the lane surprisingly easy and revved up hard in the midlane and had a strong arcing backend. I loved it. As long as your bowling on medium and up, with a length drilling, this ball offers great hit, carry, and control.
