Ultimate Inferno
« on: December 10, 2004, 03:13:18 PM »
I've read the topic on Ultimate Inferno vs Primetime sanded.  I would like to get your input on my UI problem.  I bought it to use only on wet conditions, something I struggle with.  It is drilled with the pin under the ring finger and the cg kicked out slightly. I have not been able to get much of reaction it.  I have an original Inferno, slightly shiny with the same drilling, that kicks butt on most conditions except heavy oil.  I also have an original Inferno slightly dull with the cg just left of grip center and the pin above and outside the ring finger and it is awesome on everything from medium to heavy but stops on floods.  Today I threw it against the UI on a fairly heavy condition and it kicked the UI out the door.  I'm a stroker with a slower ball speed, good accuracy and decent pop at the pocket. Give me your input guys. Thanks.

boy, i don't know what to say. sounds like your equipment is drilled right. for some reason, everyone that has the same drilling you have, stacked leverage with pin under ring with cg kicked out, seems to struggle with it as well. a friend of mine had the same problem ur having had plugged it and redrilled it for a lefty but he's righty. we've been noticing that lefties have an enormous amount of room, and break to the pocket. make a long story short, the ball was awesome for him. i have the same drilling coming on mine. i bought mine from lane21 and i'll tell u after i use it. i seem to do ok with this drilling tho. another thing i found that the full rollers are having a hard time turning the ball over. some kid said to me i put too much on the ball, thats why my ball doesn't turn over. its all in the way u rolled it. bet u u put more side on it, u might see a bigger difference. just going by what i've seen with the ball
