Intrigue sanded to 2000 with abralon pad
« on: May 26, 2015, 08:57:40 PM »
This ball is a great ball when it hits friction.I decided to help it a little by sanding it to 2000 with an abralon pad. Wow am i glad i did, Its drilled at 55x4.625x35, and being i speed dominant player i was commonly over throwing the ball through the friction.. i did the sanding the morning of mass state tournament and never tried it until i felt it was time to see what it did...773 including a 300 game in the middle. If your having troubles getting this ball to face up feel free to scuff it up....i strongly recommend it.

Nice set!

Frankly, I rarely use anything very shiny right now. I like the predictability of knocking the gloss off just a little bit.

its always nice shooting a great set at the state tournament.  I agree with you Lane, I'm not big on very shiny equipment either.  Brunswick balls take to surface adjustments very well.
