Arsenal Question
« on: January 13, 2019, 12:15:44 PM »
I throw almost exclusively Storm/Roto Grip, but the college I'm thinking of attending has a Brunswick sponsorship, so I would need to redo my entire arsenal. For my arsenal I'd like to get the closest balls Brunswick/DV8/Radical makes to what I currently have. Would anybody happen to know the closest comparisons to the balls below?
My arsenal currently is: Storm Mix, Storm Pitch Black, Roto Grip Hustle INK, Storm Street Fight, Roto Grip Idol, Roto Grip No Rules, and Storm Sure Lock. I also have a Fanatic BTU and Magnitude 035 Pearl but they already fit in the Brunswick line.
Current Arsenal

Vapor Zone
Cutting Edge Pearl
Soul
Tactic Control
T Zone

None of Brunswick, DV8,or Radical make a pearl urethane spare ball like the Mix. One of the generic plastic balls is about the only option.

For the Pitch Black there's only the True Motion and Tactic Control. I think the former might be closer... but they're all typical urethane balls.

Nothing quite like a Hustle INK. A Rhino might be the closest, but it's still not the same. I think Radical is coming out with a new Rack Attack this summer and that might be a better bet. Intel could be somewhat in the same area but it's stronger and earlier.

The Street Fight is an interesting ball with that high RG and strong cover. I would go with a Beyond Ridiculous to replace that one. Maybe a Cutting Edge Hybrid. Ludicrous. I don't know, the Fight series were so specific for how they rolled for different bowlers.

Idol is in the same category as the INK. Nothing quite compares except the Idol itself. Well, maybe a Chaos but that's from Columbia 300 so it's out of this question anyways. Uhh... maybe a sanded Fearless?

The No Rules is probably the easiest one to replace. A good ball but nothing exceedingly special. That cover was/is cleaner than expected so I might got with a Hitman Enforcer or Tenacity Grit. A Conspiracy with surface would be good too.

Sure Lock... probably a Katana Dragon. Maybe the new Kingpin Rule but I want to see more of it.

Alright I'll definitely jump in here and start from the top

Sure Lock & No Rules would be the Kingpin Rule and Pitbull Bark

Idol is a tough one, closest in my opinion is the Creed Rebellion. Method is also close but I'd go the Rebellion

Street Fight, definitely the Poison

Ink would be the Cutting Edge Solid

It you want any more info just let us know. I'm a big fan of the Brunswick/DV8 brands
