Is it really worth that much for one new in box?

Even though it was one of my favorite balls, I wouldn't pay that much for it.  Then again, I throw 16# and we know that the value of a 16# is 1/100 that of a 15, so proportionally I would.

Probably, just because it was so coveted and now is so rare N.I.B..  Odd thing is, this is the second time around for this ball and last time it started at $149.99 and NOBODY bid on it. You could have had this ball last week for $150. I know, I started to bid on it last week.

The internet has spoiled you people.  People actually paid $225+ in pro shops when this ball was out and still do for high end releases.  It's still going for under "retail".

Now the Thunderflash Pro NIB that went on Ebay last year for $289....that's a different story.  That was a $125 ball when it came out.

Not for me, DJ.  The shop I go to has infernos for 190 drilled out the door (plus tax).  I'd be losing money to buy the auction as opposed to what I could have gotten it for.

I agree with you DJ, High end balls go for $180+ around here.

To answer your question, yes it is worth it.

Keep an eye out for the Red/Black PBA Infernos. Not everyone knows what they are.

Just to hijack the thread for a moment, what is the most coveted ball out there, the ball that would go the highest in an auction.  The danger zone would have been up there probably without the remakes.  Is it the Tude III, the Raging Red Fuze, OI, Cuda/C, or something else.

Probably the mostm coveted and most paid for ball would be a Lane#1 Silver Diamond, NIB 15# could go for well in the 250 range.
