its only practice but

Shot a 299 with my new smoking inferno. I decided to try a new drilling 5 3/4 x 4.5 flare reducing weight hole 1" from my pap tword the pin, 1/2 dia' 2 inches deep, Remaining Side wight of 1/2 oz.

Bowled on 40 foot ths, second shift lanes, playing 12-8.
Im a tweener with 14 mph and 250 revs

The shot could of been better, it was a 10 pin.
i really like this ball, really nice flip action in the back end but yet its controlable. Love when something new works out.

299 is a 299 as far as I am concerned.  Congrats!  Now go do it in league, so it "counts".

To be totally honest it was after watching sean rash bowl on tv, that inspired me to put the pin that far from my pap, even tho he has a lot more revs then me and speed, also his pin was almost on the his track. But i liked the reaction he got.

Like SGC said, a 299 is a 299. Practice or not, you shot it none the less. Great score man. I love new ball syndrome!

congrats man! I have yet to do some shootin' in league. 2 300s and a 299 in practice. I tried a Pin down layout on a rampage I recently picked up. Very strong but controlable roll!
